The Zagreb Folk Dance Ensemble has since its formation in May 1945 aimed to preserve the Croatian traditional cultural heritage. This CD presents traditional dances and music played on authentic instruments from the different regions of the country, such as the tambura (bowl lyre - northern Croatia), lijerice (three string fiddle - area of Dubrovnik and some islands), gajde and dude (bagpipes - northern Croatia) and many more. The booklet features information & photographs in English, German & Spanish.
