Pipa master Gao Hong and guqin virtuoso Zhao Xiaoxia revisit some of China’s best-known traditional pieces, such as Three Variations on the Plum Blossom and Yangguan Sandie, complementing them with improvisation and adaptation full of their own unique creative charm.
