Japanese Music by Michio Miyagi Vol I

The Yamato Ensemble presents music by Michio Miyagi (1894-1956) played on shakuhachi, koto and jushichigen ('bass koto') with occasional vocals. Miyagi is one of the foremost Japanese composers, by reason of both quality and quantity of his output called the “Beethoven of the koto”.
