These historical sound documents were recorded over a thirty year period between 1954 and 1984 in India, Sri Lanka, Thailand, Taiwan, China and Tibet by the renowned ethnomusicologist Deben Bhattacharya. The booklet gives information about the history of Buddhism and tells about the ceremonies in the different countries, and contains lots of colour pictures.
