The mid-1990s ushered in a new era of Fado presented by a new generation of singers. Cristina Branco proved herself to be one of the pioneers and foremost exponents of this “novo fado” with these songs recorded live at two concerts in Amsterdam, Netherlands in 1997. This is the long awaited international release of her debut album.
